Father's day

I love the colours of this card!  And well, as we all know I LOVE the owl punch!!  I think it's missing a branch..so I've order the Little Leaves die and plan to add that under "dad" once it arrives :)

Not what I was supposed to be doing....

So I was supposed to be getting a card or 3 (I have 2 Mother in laws - xoxo) ready for this weekend...instead I found myself trying to figure out how to make a fedora....

New Owl Cards

So I sat down last night to create a few cards with my owl punch that would be good to use for kids.....I'm not very good at coming up with my own ideas..but this is the first version.. The Melon Mambo pompom ribbon was added AFTER I finished the second card...I thought it was missing something.

Here is the second version, like I said I thought the first one was missing something so I added the Marina Mist layer...I also tend to like having things a little off keelter :)

I like the birthday hats although I was COVERED in dazzling diamonds after finishing them!



I hope you all had a great Easter! We had dinner at my parents place..turkey AND ham..mmmmmm soooo good!!

I heard from my BFF the other day..which has made me more determined to get that quilt in the mail...

So I sat down tonight and created this card to send with it.

The owl punch makes these little guys SOO easy! And I just love having their eyes all wonky :)

I'm wrapping it up tonight and sending it tomorrow!
