Quick update to Weekend Plan

So far...

-One garage sale visit - no items bought
-vacuuming started
-2 loads of laundry semi finished (not folded)
-craft area - still undecided
-Run..ya no. My hubby went...I stayed in bed...and it wasn't even raining!!

Hmmmmm....things are not going quite as planned :(

The Weekend Plan

Before I get into what my plan is for this weekend, I thought I would introduce you to another member of my family...Garfied.

Garfield is a beautiful cat...but a weird one. She's very skitish and seems to skulk around...she only seems to really like my youngest daughter.

Now, on to my list for this weekend.

1. - CLEAN MY HOUSE - this week has been a crazy one and my house has been neglected..seriously neglected

2. - See if I can rearrange things so that I actually have a craft space..not just my dining room table that I have to clean up all the time - very frustrating when you're in the middle of a project!

3. - Garage sale searching for craft area...I've already got my eye on one just down the street..

4.- RUN - I love to run, and I've been seriously slacking off..it's supposed to rain all weekend though..perfect excuse for me to toss this "ta do" out the window...

5. laundry - including ironing - YUCK :'(

6. more cards

and Finally - THE most important...

7. SLEEEP !

Commute

It's late, past my bedtime anyways, so I thought I would add a picture tonight of my commute. Everyday I travel an hour (sometimes more) to and from work. Occasionally I will stop and "smell the roses". This is from one of those days :)

Baby Giraffes Card

This is the first time I've used Rose Red! I've made similar cards using the Fox & Friends stamp set, this is the first one that I would say is more girly.

I tried Pink Pirouette and Rose Red for the giraffe...which one do you prefer?

As a side note, I recently found out I need BIFOCALS! Yes..I double checked with the optometrist..I mean I'm not even 40 yet! He just giggled at me and said if it made me feel better I could say progressives...so that's what I'm going with.

Anyways..I'm just mentioning this because after uploading my photos I notice little bits of paper along the edges that I didn't notice when not super enlarged :( I've since removed them. Until I get my new glasses you'll have to be patient (insert embarrassed face here!)

Although I'm not much of a flower person, I really enjoy taking photos of them. This is one of my favourites :)

My 1st Quilt

This is my first attempt at making a quilt.  It was a panel, and I made it for my BFF.  The only part that I did not do on my own was the very outer edge..I tried numerous times..and then gave up :(

Thank god for Mrs. Gurski...she finished it for me.  I have yet to send it!  I feel guilty just looking at it....could be that I'm so proud of the darn thing I hate to part with it ;)

Charles

This is our Charlie.  He is the smaller of our two dogs, and he is the dog I brought to our family.  He's never been one to attach himself to your leg, sniff inappropriate areas, and until recently always had fresh (ish) breath.  He loves to cuddle and has always been great company for me.  He's now about 13 years old, and getting a little...quirky.   We all love him to bits...look at that face..wouldn't you??   :)
